Hey, I'm Johan. I'm a game designer so this blog will center on gameplay critique and analysis. I try to play a lot of different games, wanting to cover the history of the medium, following trends, and experiencing all genres, so my writing isn't particularly narrow in focus. I also dabble in more cultural topics (such as games as art), and films.

I write a recommendation for every game I like over on Twitter, and review films at Letterboxd as I watch them. Below are some grids of my favorites, and I've also got a public music playlist. Outside of media I enjoy worldbuilding, painting landscapes, and hiking.
